When I sat down at the computer and began to catalogue our family names into a genealogy report, my original intent was simply to compile a family tree to identify our relatives, starting with my paternal grandparents listed below. As I made connections with other relatives, and found more and more sources, it became evident that I had to pursue a more comprehensive project. The ancestry and descendancy data became too complicated to maintain as simple web pages, so eventually I converted them into genealogy database files.
